Bagual do American Pride

Magic King of Rings

Nascimento: 01.02.2007. Pedigree: Títulos: - VP1 puppies class 3 - 6m Euro Dog Show 2007, - Puppie R.BIS Euro Dog Show 2007. - Baby Club Winner & Baby BISS 2007. - V3 - intermedia class Euro Dog Show 2008. - Campeão Hungaro - Campeão servio - Campeão Lithuania -

KISS Rocker Paul Stanley To Be A Dad Again

KISS star Paul Stanley is going to be a father again. The singer-and-guitarist and his wife Erin have announced they are expecting a baby girl - their third child together.

He told People: "There is nothing greater in life than family, and my accomplishments as a father rank at the top of my successes. Erin and I are blessed with our expectation of the addition of another princess to our family and a new member of the KISS army."

The new arrival is due in August and the family, which includes Colin Michael, four, Sarah Brianna, two, couldn't be happier.

And Paul, who also has a 16-year-old son, Evan Shane, from a previous relationship, isn't worried about the impending sleepless nights, despite his advancing years. The 'Rock and Roll All Nite' singer joked: "I may be 59 but the only rocking chair this rocker is getting ready for is the one for my new baby."

Paul is set for a busy 2011 as KISS are recording their 20th studio album this year.

The group, which is comprised of Paul and bass player Gene Simmons from the band's original line up alongside guitarist Tommy Thayer and drummer Eric Singer, are planning to head into the studio in March to start work on the follow-up to 2009's 'Sonic Boom'.

Tommy recently said: "The great news is that we are going in the studio again in the next month or two. We are starting to work on writing some songs, approach it just like we did with 'Sonic Boom' and keep it all in the band in terms of the writing, with no agenda besides writing great rock n' roll songs that we love.

"I'm sure you'll see a spanking new KISS album that's gonna kick some butt soon!"

Eric Clapton to auction guitars for rehab charity

British musician Eric Clapton will sell more than 70 guitars from his personal collection in an auction in New York in March, with the proceeds going to his drug and alcohol rehabilitation center in Antigua.

Bonhams auctioneers will conduct the March 9, 2011 sale, which also includes instruments donated by Jeff Beck, J.J. Cale and Joe Bonamassa.

Featured in the auction are instruments and amps by Fender, Gibson, Marshall, Martin and Music Man, among others. Estimates for the amps and guitars range from $300-30,000, Bonhams said.

Highlights include one of Clapton's main stage guitars from 2005, one of a pair he used during the Cream Reunion Shows in London and New York -- a custom built black Fender "Eric Clapton Signature" Stratocaster estimated at $20-30,000.

Also on offer is a pair of Marshall vintage basket weave speaker cabinets, from around 1970, used during the 1970s when Clapton appeared with Derek And The Dominos. The pair is expected to fetch $8-10,000.

The auction is being held in association with Wallace & Hodgson, who worked on the two previous Clapton/ Crossroads guitar auctions in 1999 and 2004.

Vox AC15C1 Guitar Combo

The sound of a great Vox tube amp is one of the 10 wonders of the world for guitarists, but until recently that experience has come with a relatively hefty price. A few years ago the situation started to change for the better when Vox developed some exciting new models that offered classic Vox tones at prices that weren’t out of reach to most players.

Vox’s new Custom series continues this welcome trend by providing classic Vox tones and pro features in fully gig-worthy amps that cost about what you’d expect to shell out for a basic entry-level amp. Interestingly, the new Custom series AC30C2 features a simpler design that does away with the various switches found on its previous (and currently discontinued) Custom Classic counterpart, while the Custom series AC15C1 expands upon the features and versatility of its Custom Classic brother by adding a Normal channel and a master Tone Cut control. The new models also come stock with Celestion Greenback speakers, which replace the Wharfedale speakers and the more expensive optional Celestion Alnico Blues.

The addition of a Normal channel and a tone cut control brings the AC15C1 closer to the classic AC30 Top Boost model than its previous incarnation. With its 15-watt output and single 12-inch speaker, the AC15C1 is like a mini AC30 that’s ideal for small club gigs and recording.

Like an AC30, the AC15C1 includes a very cool tremolo circuit with speed and depth controls. Unlike an AC30, the amp also features built-in spring reverb with a level control. The tremolo and reverb effects are in the master section, so they are applied to both channels, and you can engage or disengage each effect separately with an optional footswitch. An external speaker jack with an 8/16-ohm impedance selector automatically disconnects the internal speaker when you connect an external speaker cabinet, while the extension speaker jack keeps the internal speaker functioning when you plug in an additional cab.

The success and satisfaction for the Java Jazz, including Peter F. Gontha the initiators of this jazz festival concert successfully menampilakan Santana, after several delays. Java Jazz also claim to have created a new record with a total overall tickets sold over 150 thousand shares. Ticket special and separate from daily admission tickets, to see the action stage, the legendary guitarist himself as much as 20 thousand more sold out sold out.

Friday night, 21:00 pm, the inaugural appearance of guitarist born July 20, 1947 a bloody US-Mexico was opened to the accompaniment of national anthem "Indonesia Raya" just a few minutes before Carlos Santana appears above panngung. The audience can not wait to see guitarist showed his guitar a beautiful action game. The strains of guitar and music performed, such as "Black Magic Woman," "Jingo," "Oye Como Va," "Mary, Mary" and "Smooth", successfully shake up the fans. As usual, every intro song is played, the audience became hysterical. Seen a few among the crowd of spectators who crowded to dance and sing along to music santana. After an hour and a half Santana show, the audience still wanted santana play the songs that started it famous since 1966. The audience shouts, "We want more, more, Santana, ..." echoed in the room hall D2 Axis Hall.

Santana concert on the second day, the audience Saturday night was even crazier than the first day. Carlos santana, is scheduled to appear at 22:30 pm, but was delayed for 15 minutes. Outside, the high enthusiasm of the fans seemed to not want to miss one moment to witness the appearance of the musicians adored it.

Complacency can be seen from expression Santana audience at the end, they hope Santana will hold a special concert next year.

Fender Road Worn ’72 Telecaster Custom and ’72 Telecaster Deluxe

While the Standard Telecaster reigns as one of the most popular solidbody guitars of all time, Fender’s humbucker-equipped Telecaster variations—like the Custom and Deluxe, both introduced in 1972—have more of a cult following. However, both models have found favor with great players who don’t always run with the herd. Keith Richards is one of a handful of guitarists who adopted the Telecaster Custom and its unique humbucker neck/single-coil bridge configuration, while Thom Yorke, Lee Ranaldo and Dave Grohl count among the dual-humbucker Telecaster Deluxe’s devoted fans.

Fender recently added Telecaster Custom and Deluxe models to its expanding, popular line of Road Worn guitars, which have the aged look and worn-in feel of a well-loved battle-ax. Both models are relatively accurate reproductions of the original versions, but they sell for three to four times less than what you’d pay for their vintage counterparts.

Keith Richards fans are certain to gravitate toward the Road Worn Telecaster Custom, which looks almost identical to the black 1975 Tele Custom that he often plays in concert. While previous Road Worn models have included several modern “hot-rodded” enhancements, those modifications are absent and missed on the Tele Custom. Fender opted for vintage-style frets, which are lower profiled, thinner and an acquired taste along with the Custom’s 7 1/2–inch curved radius, but then again, this ax is for players who are already familiar with vintage guitars. The single-coil Tele bridge pickup provides more jangle than twang, but the neck humbucker is a welcome addition that gives added punch to open G–tuning rhythms.

The Deluxe has medium jumbo frets, but they are a little on the small side. However, the flatter 12-inch radius feels good under the fingers. The pair of humbuckers gives the guitar attractive fat tone that’s almost like single-coil P90 pickups but with a little more weight. This is a great guitar for pounding out “wall of sound” rhythms (no wonder so many rhythm guitarists have leaned toward this model), but it also holds its own quite nicely for lead players who desire bold, aggressive tones for solos.

I’m not sure why Fender decided to revive the much-disparaged three-bolt Micro-Tilt neck mounting design, but the neck felt solid and secure throughout my trials, and the tonal benefits outweigh the initial set-up hassles.

Joe Satriani Electrifies the Best Buy Theater

Guitar hero Joe Satriani shredded his way through a blazing two hour set in New York last night, awing an audience for the second night in a row at the Best Buy Theater.

Despite harrowing, arctic winds that tore through the city streets, fans came out in droves to see the legendary ‘Satch.’ The guitarist is touring behind his newest album, Black Swans and Wormhole Wizards, and last night’s show demonstrated beyond question that the virtuoso, responsible for instructing players as reknown as Steve Vai and Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, is as on top of his game as ever.

From the second Joe hit the stage, the underground Best Buy Theater was turned into a world of screaming guitars and otherworldly effects. Satriani is a master of not only rapid-fire playing, but riding a seemingly endless tone up and down the fretboard, diving with the whammy bar only to soar back up in ear-bursting squeals. Fans closest to the stage stared open-mouthed, simply in awe as they watched his fingers fly almost faster than the eye could follow. Virtually every song was instrumental, but unlike most of his rock contemporaries, Satriani fills every second of music with such original, exciting moments and emotion that there simply isn’t room for vocals even if he wanted.

Highslide JS Highslide JS Highslide JS Highslide JS

The musician had great stage presence, never removing his green-tinted sunglasses as he strode about and bobbed his head back and forth, leaning back into the crunch of his backing band’s rhythm. The band, consisting of a drummer, keyboardist, bassist and rhythm guitarist, was tightly locked in with their frontman, blasting through tight beats and stopping on a dime, giving Satriani more than enough audio elbowroom to run wild all over their foundation, sounding as well as looking otherworldy as his guitar effects and arpeggio-filled tapping created a rich sonic tapestry.

The show went on for an impressive two straight hours, including a half dozen tracks from the new record which were received just as well as the classic material. Watch my video of new, ultra-catchy song Premonition on the left side of the page. While guitar noodling can get old after a while, Satriani never faltered, keeping things interesting by demonstrating his absolute mastery of the instrument. He broke out acoustic guitars, a harmonica, and engaged in a duel with his keyboardist, battling back and forth on riffs until the keyboardist was finally unable to match a particularly epic high note bent into an impossibly long, overdriven squeal. Later, Joe played the same game with the crowd, fans doing their best to imitate the guitar licks with their voices, but if one thing was proven last night, it’s that no one or instrument can truly match what Satriani does best.

Charmingly polite in his short stage banter between songs, Joe finally took the microphone to sing on the bluesy Big Bad Moon, letting loose with a smooth singing voice that really deserves to be heard more often. Fans, who were sitting for most of the show, finally rose to their feet, and crowded right up to the stage, hands outstretched as Satriani effortlessly blazed his way across every inch of fretboard. He then encored with fan favorites Crowd Chant and Summer Song, his lightening guitar magic as impressive as it was in the beginning of the concert.

Joe Satriani might not have radio hits or rabid fanclubs like other hard rock artists, but make no mistake: This is one of rock’s greatest players, and one of rock’s greatest writers as well. Words can’t truly relate the magic of witnessing Mr. Satriani in person, and fortunately he seems set to continue writing and touring for a long time to come, both solo as well as his roles in supergroup Chickenfoot and the vaunted G3 tours. But in the meantime, fans can check out plenty of video on Youtube, buy his latest record, and be sure that next time Joe comes to town, they are in the crowd and ready to surf with the alien.
